POSTER PRESENTATIONS
If your abstract has been selected as a poster presentation, posters will be presented from Saturday, June 4 through Tuesday, June 7. The Welcome Reception on June 4, 7:00 pm will showcase all even numbered poster presentations and the Opening Ceremony Reception on June 5, at 5:30 pm will showcase all odd numbered poster presentations. Exact presentation times and instructions on how to prepare posters are attached to this email. POSTER SIZE IS 4 FT BY 4 FT.
INTERACTIVE POSTER SESSIONS
Please note that if your poster presentation has a specific date and time listed, you have been selected to participate in an interactive poster session. Each session will have a moderator and it will begin with each poster presenter giving a short (5-minute maximum) description of their poster. After the brief introduction, the floor will be open for discussion. We hope this will be a positive experience for presenters, poster viewers, and exhibitors alike. Instructions on how to prepare posters are attached to this email. POSTER SIZE IS 4 FT BY 4 FT.
ORAL PRESENTATIONS
If your abstract has been selected as an Oral Presentation, you will be required to create a POWER POINT PRESENTATION TO BE RUN ON AN IBM COMPATIBLE PC. At the conference, an LCD projector and IBM compatible PC will be provided. Your presentation will be 15 minutes long.* This includes 12 minutes for set up and presentation and 3 minutes for discussion. The date and time of your presentation are listed below.
*Please note, if you have already been informed that you are a finalist in the In Vitro Animal Cell Sciences or Plant Biotechnology Student/Post Doctoral Oral Presentation Competitions, your presentation will be 20 minutes long.
SILENT ABSTRACT
If your abstract is listed as a Silent Abstract, it will be published in the abstract issue, but you will not present your abstract at the meeting
